Derby County Centre Of Excellence For Girls, Technical Director
(1-year fixed post subject to licence confirmation for the 2015/16 season)
Salary Range – £7,000 - £9,000 per annum
Derby County Girls’ Centre of Excellence are looking to recruit a dynamic and committed individual who has excellent communication and organisational skills, with a passion for working with talented players. The Director will develop and implement a technical/tactical player and coach development programme across all age groups within the Girls’ Centre of Excellence programme in line with FA criteria.
Successful candidates must have the following essential skills/qualifications:
• Uefa A Licence and FA Youth Award Modules 1, 2 and 3
• Be FA Coach Licensed and hold an up to date and recognised First Aid Qualification
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of child protection issues as well as holding a current FA Safeguarding Children Workshop certificate
• An up to date FA CRC (Criminal Records Check)
• Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience of coaching talented players
• An appreciation and experience of mentoring and developing other coaches and a clear understanding of the FA Women’s and Girls’ player pathway.
• Experience of managing individuals and teams

We are looking to recruit additional team members to work within the Ticket Office on matchdays and to provide additional support in the week during peak periods and ticketing campaigns.
The successful candidates will be responsible for providing information to customers about fixtures, ticket sale dates and assist with ticket selection. You will also process payments for tickets, travel, memberships and assist customers with any queries that they may have.
The successful candidates will be enthusiastic with exceptional customer service and communication skills and both the ability and desire to deliver an incredible experience to our customers. Basic computer skills are also required. Previous experience in a retail or sales environment is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
