An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Finance department to join the team and play a pivotal role in the ongoing success of Derby County Football Club. We are seeking an enthusiastic Management Accountant who will ensure accurate reporting whilst assisting the existing management team to embed a culture of continuous improvement within the department.
Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
• Maintaining the Fixed Asset register
• Tracking & monitoring capex projects, providing input into cashflow forecasting
• Coordinating the monthly control account reconciliation process
• Review of prepayments & accruals together with appropriate postings
• Maintain reporting structure within Cognos (reporting tool)
• Regular meetings with budget holders to provide assistance and support, and to challenge when necessary
• Mentor and support other team members to achieve their targets and objectives
• Part qualified CIMA (Passed a minimum of 2 exams at Operational level) with commitment to successful completion of CIMA within 3 years
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to work on own initiative and thrives in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work to deadlines with excellent organisational skills
• Leads by example
• Experience of Cognos would be beneficial but not essential

Human Resources Advisor
Derby County Football Club are looking to appoint an experienced HR Advisor to join our team at the iPro Stadium.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Assistant/Advisor to work in a fast paced environment and play a key role in supporting the HR Director in the delivery of the HR strategy for the Club. The HR Advisor will be responsible for providing first class generalist HR advice and support for our employees across the organisation, managing the day-to-day HR processes consistently and effectively.
The successful candidate will have previous experience within a generalist HR role, ideally CIPD qualified or working towards, with excellent communication and administration skills.
Competitive salary depending on experience.
This is a full time role, but part time applicants will also be considered.

In-Stadium Betting Jobs
In-stadium betting operator BD stadia are looking to add to their team of part-time cashiers to assist in the processing of fans bets on matchday at the iPro Stadium.

Hours: On match days, 3 hours per match (weekends and evenings)
Rate of pay: £8.33 per hour
As part of the BD Stadia in-stadium betting team, duties include:
-Processing cash bets from supporters in football stadiums prior to kick off
-Promoting the matchday betting service and the relevant specials /promotions
-Cash handling and reconciling paperwork quickly and efficiently
-Delivering high levels of customer service and promoting brand awareness
The successful candidates must be:
-Honest and reliable
-Professional and smart in appearance
-Available to work weekend and evening fixtures for the duration of the season, including over Christmas and Easter (this is essential)
-Able to converse confidently and clearly
-Proven experience in customer service and cash handling.
Additional hours and responsibilities may be available to the right candidates.
