Club puts the Fans First in supporter-based initiative.
Derby County launched its Fans First initiative in August 2008 to put the supporters at the forefront of the club's matchday experience.
Great offers on food and drink have been introduced over the last three seasons for supporters inside Pride Park Stadium early ahead of the match.
There have also been offers and discounts on merchandise, free team posters, exclusive scarves, free programmes, free t-shirts, open training sessions plus a whole host of fantastic deals.
One of the biggest innovations was in April 2009 with the Fans First Forum at Pride Park which was attended by 750 season ticket holders who heard from Nigel Clough, Robbie Savage, Stephen Bywater, Tom Glick and a host of club legends.
Audio from the forum was also streamed live and for free via dcfc.co.uk, making it assessable to supporters across the globe.
During the 2009/10 season the club introduced a number of new initiatives.
A text messaging facility was set up allowing supporters to report inappropriate behaviour at Pride Park Stadium.
The Rams Road Representatives was also introduced, meaning two members of staff were on duty at all away games to deal with ticket queries and all other related matters posed by Rams supporters.
The 'Raincheck' ticket was also launched for supporters who may occasionally miss a home game for whatever reason. The club allowed fans to replace their unused match ticket (or tickets) with additional seats for friends or family at future selected matches free of charge.
Season ticket holders were also entitled to a free copy of the Derby County 2010 handbook as part of Fans First. The 192-page handbook was a comprehensive information pack which will help to engage and connect with supporters at a deeper level, giving them a greater insight into their football club.
Another initiative was free entry for season ticket holders at all reserve team fixtures, as well as the Christmas Letter which contained various special offers exclusively for season ticket holders.
The 2010/11 season and 2011/12 season have since seen more offers introduced to fans through the Fans First initiative.
