Derby County's team news for this afternoon’s pre-season friendly at League 2 Chesterfield has been confirmed to dcfc.co.uk.
As expected, Nigel Clough has left out a number of first-team players with Tuesday’s Capital One Cup clash with Scunthorpe United in mind.
Adam Lezgdins, Tom Naylor, James Bailey, Jeff Hendrick, Ben Davies, Conor Doyle and Jamie Ward are seven of the starting XI to have first-team experience under their belts while trialists Valentin Gjokaj, Danny Berrera and Roope Riski are handed a chance to impress.
Riski, the latest trialist on board with the Rams, is a Finland under-21 international striker who joined up with the Club yesterday.
