PA to Executive Chairman

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a PA to support the newly appointed Executive Chairman at Derby County Football Club Ltd.

Due to a busy agenda, you will be pro-actively managing constantly changing diaries, anticipating and acting upon potential problems before they arise, making travel arrangements, attending meetings at Board and Executive level, responding to enquiries and undertaking administration duties as required to support the Executive Chairman and contribute to the smooth running of the office.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as an Executive PA, able to carry out multiple projects simultaneously, be able to prioritise workload and work well when under pressure and keep to deadlines.

Advanced MS Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint) and excellent typing skills are a must; short hand skills are highly desirable.

The successful candidate must be committed and loyal, have a flexible approach, and be able to work weekends as required.


IT Manager

We are seeking to recruit an IT Manager who will be responsible for the company's internal IT function.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and documenting the current IT infrastructure before recommending and implementing changes and modifications to the system and equipment to ensure continuous improvement.

You will be involved in the budgeting of the internal IT infrastructure, the specifying of what equipment should be bought, and the implementation and support of new and existing systems.

The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach to resolving technical problems and improvement implementation.

They will have a professional, conscientious and flexible approach to work, with excellent logistical and organisational skills.

Additionally they will have excellent project management skills to ensure successful delivery of IT projects and work performed by third party suppliers.

Candidates should have prior experience of managing an IT team or function.
