We currently have a vacancy at the training ground for a groundsperson to join our existing team at Moor Farm.
This role is pivotal in ensuring that the training grounds are maintained to the highest standards achievable.
Key duties involve:
* Mowing grass
* Marking out
* Driving tractors with or without cabs
* Chemical spraying
* Hedge trimming and collection of debris
* Moving hoses and sprinklers to irrigate pitches
* Rolling and spiking of pitches
* Checking of nets and the safe weighting of goals
Previous experience in a sports turf environment, and a level two NVQ in Sports Turf Maintenance is preferred, although full training will be given.
The successful candidate must be able to work flexible hours and weekends as required, have a full driving licence and be able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
