Derby County's thriving community department is looking to appoint a Kickz Project Co-ordinator to work in the city's Derwent ward.
Kickz is a partnership between the Premier League, the FA and the Police Service to create a youth social inclusion project.
Kickz involves professional football clubs taking constructive activity into targeted areas with high instances of anti-social behaviour. The target age range is 12 - 18 and the project is aiming to develop the youth leaders, volunteers and coaches of the future.
The Rams and delivery partners will provide three sessions per week for 48 weeks of the year, two of which will be football coaching and matches with one additional session of other activity.
Applicants should hold a Level 2 FA coaching qualification or equivalent NGB qualification and
have experience, knowledge and understanding of football club community programmes.
Pther essential requirements are communication skills and the ability to organise, develop and evaluate provision, an understanding of Information Technology and a full clean driving licence with access to a vehicle
