Rams winger Lee Holmes follow in the footsteps of a legion of celebrities and help make children's wishes come true this Christmas.
As part of the Premier League's Creating Chances initiative, Derby County have teamed up with Nottingham-based charity When You Wish Upon A Star to give 100 youngsters a memorable festive period.
Holmes will be boarding a 3am flight from East Midlands Airport to join youngsters who suffer from life-threatening illnesses as they head to Lapland - the home of Santa Clause - to hand in their Christmas wish-lists.
In the past the When You Wish Upon A Star team have worked alongside stars from the music, TV and sports world, including Westlife, McFly, Gordon Ramsay and Andrew 'Freddie' Flintoff.
Since the charity started in 1990 its primary aim has been to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses.
When You Wish Upon A Star solely relies on donations and monies raised from events.
