Derby County, in partnership with Derbyshire Building Society, has seen an unprecedented surge in popularity of the Rams Account - with the 10,000^th new savings account set to be opened early in the New Year.

Since the end of November, when it was announced the 9,100 Rams Accounts at that date had exceeded £40-million - of which over £1-million had benefited Derby County's Youth Academy - the number of accounts has now soared to 9,800.

An exclusive VIP hospitality package will be presented to the 10,000^th new account holder, who will enjoy VIP hospitality at the Rams v Wigan New Year fixture on Saturday 12 January, complete with Champagne and a presentation by the Derbyshire Building Society.
