Derby County Football Club's Academy is seeking to employ an individual with the necessary enthusiasm and commitment to make a difference to the development of football in the county and the recruitment of suitable standards of players to the Academy.
Objective:
To develop a sustainable programme of events that supports the successful identification and recruitment of talented players for the future success of the Academy.
Responsibilities will include:
* Establishing a programme of development for local teams.
* Delivering a structured programme of support and training to schools and clubs.
* Co-ordinating initiatives to support the progress of talented players.
* Recruiting and training coaches and volunteers.
Person specification
Ideally you should be a graduate with a relevant professional qualification, or have developed a sound understanding of sports development through appropriate work based training.
You should also have excellent communication and organisational skills and be willing to work some unsociable hours.
The FA/UEFA B Coaching Licence is essential. The post will require the need to travel extensively in the local area.
