Technical consultant
An exciting opportunity has arisen in our IT department for a technical consultant.
Operating from Pride Park and Moor Farm the role will encompass a wide range of duties in the support of the IT network at the club including project management and deputising for the IT manager.
You must be a self motivated individual with superb communication skills and be very well presented as you will be an ambassador for the department to all staff.

The ability to understand business IT needs and give advice and guidance on implementing IT change and best practice to assist the club in gaining the maximum business benefit from our investment in IT is essential.
Ideally you will be Microsoft accredited and studying towards an MCSE qualification.
You will have experience of supporting and configuring Microsoft server products (Windows 2003 Server, Exchange 2003 and Terminal Services).
You will have a good understanding of TCP/IP, Wide Area Networking and Local Area Network setup (including routers, switches and VLANs).

Derby County Football Club are seeking to appoint an exceptional marketing and media manager who will be accountable for the club's marketing and media function.
The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing current marketing and media activities, service provision and determine the future strategy for the department to facilitate continuous improvement and creatively market the Derby County brand in order to optimise revenue.
Key accountabilities are as follows:
* The development of strategic marketing and media plans which will deliver measurable results to the business both in terms of revenue and other drivers.
* The creation of an interactive game presentation and overall customer experience that drives loyalty and rewards the supporter base.
* The management of media outputs such as the official website, VisionRams and the matchday programme and support other new media communication tools to reach our target audience.
* The development of targeted offers and compelling ways to deliver them.
* To lead and oversee marketing research and customer surveys to assess demand, the ongoing change in customer needs and requests, brand positioning and awareness.
* To manage agencies and effectively co-ordinate them to ensure an integrated brand strategy.
The successful candidate will have successfully worked on large scale marketing and media programmes and managed a budget covering a large range of activities.
They will also have had substantial experience of managing people, have an exceptional ability to formulate marketing and media strategies, both internally and externally and manage multiple tasks, competing priorities and project conflict.
Essential qualifications for the role include a marketing-related qualification or degree, membership of the CIM and a Registered Chartered Marketer.
They should also have strong IT skills and awareness of print production packages including Quark, Photoshop, Web, Digital and Litho.
Experience of running websites and managing televised productions is also essential.
Previous experience of supporting ticket sales in an entertainment or professional sports team through a marketing role would be advantageous.
