TODD BOOK SIGNING IS ON FRIDAY

Rams legend Colin Todd will be returning to Pride Park Stadium on May 30.

The great centre-half of the 1970s has just launched his new autobiography entitled Toddy - The Colin Todd Story.

And he will be in store at shopDCFC to meet and greet fans and sign copies of the book, which charts his extensive playing and management career.

Todd the player joined Derby in 1971 and was the record signing under then-boss Brian Clough and went on to make 371 appearances over the next eight years.

During that time he also won 27 England caps and starred in some of the Rams' finest hours as he forged a reputation as one of the best defenders of his generation.

He won two league championship medals, played in the 1973 European Cup semi-final against Juventus and was named PFA Players' Player of the Year in 1975.

As a manager he came back to the club in 2001 as assistant to Jim Smith and took over from the Bald Eagle in October that year.

He is currently in charge of Danish side Randers FC while his son Andy has been part of Derby's squad during the 2007/08 Premier League campaign.

Todd Snr will be in shopDCFC on Friday May 30 from 3pm to 4.30pm. Only copies of his book will be signed on the day.
