Academy starlet Bennett is aged just 15, but already he has played for Derby's County's first team and is tipped to have a very bright future in the game.
The striker was named on the substitute's bench for the Rams' 3-2 Carling Cup defeat to Shrewsbury Town and although he didn't get on, he didn't have to wait too much longer to make his first team bow.
At just 15 years and 99 days old Bennett became Derby County's youngest ever player when he was named in Nigel Clough's starting line-up in a 2-0 defeat at Middlesbrough.
He hit the crossbar at the Riverside Stadium and impressed with a lively display in attack - but it wasn't a surprise to the Rams' coaching staff after an impressive run of form for Derby's under 18s.
In July 2011, Bennett was part of the England under-17 side that competed in the Nordic Tournament in Iceland, and he marked his first start for the Three Lions with a goal in their 1-1 draw with Norway and he followed that up with a Man of the Match performance for England's under-16s against Northern Ireland in October 2011.
