A new initiative for this year is our inset days, which will help with parents' childcare provision when their child's school holds teacher inset days.

Derby County in the Community coaches will run a coaching fun day at the school during normal school hours, ensuring that parents' normal working weeks are not interrupted.

To ensure that there is very little disruption to the teachers' working days, DCITC coaches will meet the children on arrival, register them, supervise them for the whole day and sign them out at the end of the day's coaching.

The cost of the day's coaching is £12.50 and for every child who participates on the coaching day the school will receive £2.50 cashback from the DCITC scheme.

Additionally, DCITC coaches are available to deliver practical and theoretical football sessions for teaches, SSCOs and PLTs.

The provision can be at the host school or off-site and can include FUNdamentals, our fitness programme, warm-ups/downs or generic football sessions.
