* To ensure that children and young persons throughout Derbyshire can access high quality football provision, irrespective of age, gender, ability, ethnicity and social circumstance.

* Through a diverse community programme, raise attainment and levels of physical literacy and activity throughout Derbyshire.

* To deliver a programme of initiatives and activities that educate children and young persons to be healthy, stay safe, enjoy and achieve, make a positive contribution and achieve economic well being.

* To create and identify employment opportunities for young adults, developing a volunteer workforce and creating role models to support the ongoing delivery programme of the scheme.

* To use Derby County Football Club's brand and resources throughout the county in a positive manner, forging closer links with the community, involving them in all aspects of the football club.

* To create clear player pathways for all participants into appropriate clubs and organisations.

* To identify and access new sources of income (funding), expanding existing provision and reacting to national and regional agendas.

* Engage with key agencies locally, regionally and nationally, ensuring that the scheme is at the fore of all new initiatives.
