Derby County Ladies FC is holding junior trials in June - along with open-age pre-season training in July.

The junior trials take place on June 7, 14 and 21 at Derby College, Prince Charles Avenue, Mackworth, Derby, DE22 4LR.

For children in the under-ten age bracket (currently in school year three or four) and under-12 (year five or six) the sessions run from 9.45am to 12noon.

And for those in the under-14 range (year seven or eight) and under-16s (year nine or ten), it's from 11.45am to 2pm.

All potential players, including those registered with Derby County Ladies for 2007/8, should attend both of the first TWO sessions (June 7 and 14) wherever possible.

Players will be informed after the session on June 14 if they have been selected to attend the final session on June 21, which is by invitation only.

Open-age pre-season training commences on the first Thursday in July and all potential new players are welcome to attend.

Derby County Ladies is aiming to improve on this season's fifth place in the Midland Combination League and would be particularly pleased to hear from any experienced players who share the vision and ambition to take the club forward.
