PAY LESS TO WATCH THE RAMS IN 2008/09
Derby County fans will pay less for their match tickets this season as the club bids for an immediate return to the Premier League.
Seats for individual league games in the 2008/09 campaign start at just £8 for juveniles, £13 for seniors and young adults and only £22 for adults (silver category) if purchased in advance.
President and CEO Tom Glick says the price cuts reflect the club's gratitude to the continued level of support it is receiving from the fans.
He said: "We are delighted to be able to offer such competitive pricing on individual match day tickets to compliment the great value season ticket offer.
"There is a determination here at Derby County to ensure that being able to watch the team and enjoy the match day experience is accessible to as many people in our supporter base as possible.
"I believe our new pricing structure, combined with the improvements we have made to the actual process of buying tickets, will be of great benefit to our supporters.
"It's our aim to sell out Pride Park on a regular basis this season and with a phenomenal season ticket base of over 22,000 and growing, it is a goal we are well capable of achieving.
"Our home form is going to be vital in our promotion bid this season and we have already seen that a sell-out crowd creates a fantastic atmosphere at Pride Park.
"Our home can be our fortress this season and that is down to the continued great support you give us - you have an important role to play in 2008/09."
Ticket prices for gold category games start at only £10 for juveniles, £15 for seniors and young adults, and £25 for adults.
Platinum game pricing begins at £12 for juveniles, £17 for seniors and young adults, and £28 for adults.
For 2008/09, the club has reintroduced a scheme whereby fans who buy their tickets early for home games are rewarded with lower prices.
Prices for all silver, gold and platinum category games in 2008/09 will rise by £2 for juveniles, seniors and young adults, and £3 for adults if purchased on the day of the game.
The club has also introduced a booking fee of £1 per ticket for all tickets purchased online, over the telephone and by post (to a maximum of £5 per transaction).
