LIAM TO GAIN FROM TERRIERS LOAN
Striker Liam Dickinson has joined League 1 side Huddersfield Town on a month's loan - a move that Paul Jewell feels will benefit the 22-year-old.
Dickinson arrived from Stockport County over the summer and featured in pre-season but has been kept out of competitive action due to the form and strength of Nathan Ellington, Rob Hulse and Tito Villa.
He will head to the Galpharm Stadium and gain experience of football in a high-expectation environment with the Terriers.
"Liam's development will be aided by playing in front of big crowds regularly in League 1 with Huddersfield, where expectation is high this season," said Derby boss Paul Jewell.
"Liam is still very much part of our plans and we are hoping that first-team football will hasten his progression for him to come back and play a big part in Derby County's first-team squad over the coming years."
