Teenager Jason Beardsley will remain at Notts County until January after agreeing an extension on his loan.

The full-back originally joined the Magpies until October but will stay with the League 2 side for longer after impressing boss Ian McParland.

Academy product Beardsley, who made his senior debut for Derby in last season's Carling Cup tie with Blackpool, has played every minute of the Magpies' three games this season.
