Defender Jordan Stewart says it's all about sticking together for the Rams as they look to recover from Saturday's frustrating defeat at Barnsley.
Derby dominated for long periods at Oakwell and kept home goalkeeper Luke Steele busy all afternoon but fell to a 2-0 defeat.
Now they have a fortnight off to regroup and work hard on the training ground.
"To play so well and lose 2-0 leaves a nasty taste, especially as now there's a break," Stewart told www.dcfc.co.uk.
"Their first goal was a great goal but we have played well and were unlucky not to get the result.
"We have got to stick togther and keep going as we know we are improving in each game and as long as we keep working hard on the training pitch, and giving 100 per cent in games, it will come.
"It is frustrating that there is no game next week but that gives us more time to work hard on the training ground.
"Nobody wants to be down at the bottom of the table and we do need to win games so that is what we are going to work on over the next couple of weeks."
