Goalscorer Martin Albrechtsen admitted he was as delighted with a first Championship clean sheet of the season as his second goal in as many weeks in the Rams' 2-0 win at Queens Park Rangers.

You could have been watching a replay of last week's draw with Cardiff City when the big Dane drove home Nacer Barazite's right-wing corner at Loftus Road.

That put Derby in front with only 11 minutes remaining at Loftus Road and they wrapped up the points through Tito Villa late on.

But a good all-round team performance meant their own goal wasn't breached for the first time in the league this season, a fact that buoyed Albrechtsen.

He said: "They looked tired and made mistakes but credit to us, we pushed them back and played well, and we pressed them in the right areas so they gave the ball away easily.

"When we got the ball we passed it around well and created chances.

"I am just delighted for everyone today. I wouldn't have been satisfied with a 0-0 draw and we deserved the win.

"Keeping a clean sheet is as almost important as the win so to finally get one is nice.

"We are on a bit of a roll now and are hard to beat at the moment, which is nice especially when you think of the first few weeks of the season.

"It is nice to have that positivity instead of the negativity that was around earlier in the season and we are looking forward to our next game."
