A PLEASURE TO PLAY FOR DEAN
Dean Leacock said it was a "pleasure to play" for Derby in ther 2-0 success at Queens Park Rangers.
The defender was part of a good all-round display to earn the points on a baking hot afternoon at Loftus Road.
And he was delighted for everyone involved in the success.
"The defence wasn't going to be passed today but the whole squad here were brilliant, as were the management and the fans," he told www.dcfc.co.uk.
"It was a pleasure to be playing for the Rams today.
"I think we played like this at Barnsley and they snatched it but today we were the better team and won the game.
"We had quite a few chances and they had some but overall we were solid at the back, we got the clean sheet and we deserved the result.
"Now we'll face Birmingham with confidence. We go in to every game thinking we can win and it will be no different on Tuesday."
