PAUL: NACER'S KNEE A CONCERN
Nacer Barazite will have a scan on Thursday after suffering suspected medial knee ligament damage in the 3-2 defeat at Blackpool.
The on-loan Dutchman was injured in the build-up to the home side's third goal at Bloomfield Road and was stretchered off.
"He will be having a scan on Thursday and from there we will know the severity of the injury," Derby boss Paul Jewell confirmed.
"We have got a few injuries at the moment but that is part and parcel of the game and that is when you need people to be ready if called upon."
Of the reverse in the north-west, Jewell added: "I can't fault the lads for their effort, and they kept going right to the end, but for the amount of possession we had I was disappointed at times in the end-product from wide areas.
"Their third goal was against the run of play and I think we were the better team but we didn't make the most of our possession.
"It was a good free-kick from Kris (for Derby's first goal) and hopefully he can do more of that because we would like to see more end-product from our wide players.
"We were seven unbeaten before tonight and Blackpool is not an easy place to come but nobody could say that we ducked it tonight.
"We showed plenty of character but couldn't quite get hte break for the equaliser I felt we deserved.
"I have come away wondering how we didn't come away from the game with something, given the amount of possession we had, but they made it difficult for us and credit to Larry (home boss Simon Grayson), who is doing a good job here."
