The quarter-final of the Carling Cup could throw up a whole manner of intriguing opportunities - but Ruben Zadkovich will take whoever comes out of the hat.

The Australian came on at half-time in Tuesday night's 2-1 win over Leeds United in the last 16 as Derby reached the next stage of the competition for the first time since 1990.

And he will take whoever is paired with the Rams in Saturday lunchtime's draw.

"I'll be happy with any of them to be honest, cup games are brilliant," he said, before going on to admit that a tie against one of the supposed 'big four' would also be enticing.

"It would be something special to be playing against Liverpool or Arsenal, so we will have to be patient and wait and see."

Zadkovich was happy with the way Derby came through their test against the League 1 side from Elland Road.

"They played really well and had a lot of possession, though without threatening us too much," he said.

"It could have gone either way but we hung in there, stuck together as a team, and got the result.

"Maybe we took our foot off the accelerator a little bit (after going 2-0 up) and once we gave them a sniff they started to play.

"Leeds are a good footballing side as far as I'm concerned and they have some good young players, but though we may have eased off we got the result."
