First team stars feature in latest run out

A number of senior pros will line up for a Derby County XI tonight (Tuesday 14th July), as Nigel Clough takes his side to face Arnold Town.

Roy Carroll, Martin Albrechtsen, Jordan Stewart, Stephen Pearson, Ben Pringle and Steve Davies will all play in the game at the Eagle Valley stadium in Nottingham.

The rest of the squad is made up from the new 'development side' of younger stars.

Rams manager Nigel Clough says its good opportunity for a number of the players:

"It's another match and another opportunity to get closer to match fitness.

"For some of the lads it will be a first run out; for others it's a chance to get some valuable game time under their belts."

The match kicks off at 7.45pm this evening at the Eagle Valley stadium.
