Stephen Pearson leads Derby County XI

Stephen Pearson continues on his road to match fitness by captaining a Derby County XI against Northern Counties East side Arnold Town this evening (Tuesday 14th July).

Steve Davies was another senior pro looking to pick up some more game time, having impressed at Burton in the second half. Roy Carroll, Jordan Stewart, Martin Albrechtsen and Ben Pringle got their first starts of pre-season.

Nigel Clough is also using the game to have a look at centre half Tom Erik Nordberg, who is visiting from Norwegian side Levanger.

The game, at the Eagle Valley Stadium, kicks off at 7.45pm.
