Derby County pair Robbie Savage and Jake Buxton have been selected for this week's Coca-Cola Championship Team of the Week.

The duo played instrumental roles in Derby's 1-1 draw at Sheffield United on Saturday.

Savage opened the scoring with a stunning volley after 17 minutes at Bramall Lane, his second of the season.

At the heart of the defence alongside Shaun Barker, Buxton put in another rock-solid display and was called upon to make a vital last-gasp block to deny Henri Camara in the closing stages.
