Also enjoying a loan spell in non-league football is defender Mark Dudley, who was part of the Hinckley United side that defeated Ilkeston Town 1-0 in the Blue Square North.

Luke Varney played the entire 90 minutes for Sheffield Wednesday as they crashed to a heavy 5-0 defeat at Reading, their third successive defeat.

In League One Lewis Price and Brentford weren't in action as heavy rain forced the postponement of their home fixture against Tranmere Rovers.

Finally, in League Two Greg Mills wasn't included in Macclesfield Town's matchday squad as they were beaten 1-0 at home by leaders Rochdale.
