LOAN WATCH: ATKINS & KIDDY HIT FOR 5

Posted on: Tue 16 Mar 2010

dcfc.co.uk monitors the progress of Derby County's out-on-loan players.

Goalkeeper Ross Atkins had been unbeaten in his four previous games in goal for Kidderminster Harriers, but that record was emphatically ended as the Blue Square Premier side were hammered 5-1 in their FA Trophy Semi Final 1st Leg at home to Stevenage Borough.

The youngster was given no chance with any of the goals and Kidderminster now require a resounding victory in next weekend's 2nd Leg if they are to reach the Final at Wembley.

Harriers return to Blue Square Premier action on Tuesday evening with a tricky trip to playoff hopefuls Luton Town.

Frontman Luke Varney played 70 minutes of Sheffield Wednesday's goalless draw at promotion chasing Swansea City before being replaced as the Owls edged out of the drop zone thanks to Scunthorpe's late defeat at Ipswich.

Derby's third and final player currently out on loan is goalkeeper Lewis Price, and he was an unused substitute as Brentford drew 3-3 with MK Dons in League One at Griffin Park.
