Loan Watch: First Start For Croft

Posted on: Thu 26 Aug 2010

dcfc.co.uk monitors the progress of Derby County's out-on-loan players following the midweek action.

Lee Croft, Huddersfield Town

Lee made his first start for the Terriers in their 5-1 Carling Cup defeat at Premier League Everton on Wednesday evening. After making his debut as a substitute for Town in their 4-2 defeat at Peterborough United on Saturday the right winger came in for the injured Anthony Pilkington at Goodison Park. He played the full 90 minutes as Huddersfield were easily beaten by their Premier League opponents. Fellaini, Rodwell, Beckford, Saha and Osman were on target for the home side, with Heitinga putting through his own net for Huddersfield's goal.

Ross Atkins, Tamworth

Ross played the full 90 minutes between the posts for Tamworth on Tuesday as they drew 1-1 with Cambridge United in the Blue Square Premier to make it one defeat in the opening four matches for the Lambs. Tamworth came from a goal down to claim a point, and take on Luton Town at the weekend in their latest fixture.

Greg Mills, AFC Telford United

Greg helped Telford to their fourth successive league victory in the Blue Square North on Tuesday against Gloucester City, but the game ended on a sour note for the winger. He has been in impressive form since joining Andy Sinton's side earlier this month, but was sent off in the closing stages of the 2-0 victory for a second bookable offence. As a result, he will miss their game with Redditch United on Saturday.
