dcfc.co.uk monitors the progress of Derby County's out-on-loan players after the weekend's games.
Luke Varney, Blackpool
Luke was thrown straight into the Blackpool starting XI against Fulham on Saturday, 24 hours after putting pen-to-paper on a season-long loan at Bloomfield Road. Having been denied by David Stockdale in the first half, Varney created Blackpool's equaliser to cancel out Bobby Zamora's opening goal as John Pantsil put through his own goal. Varney then slotted Blackpool ahead to round off a fine team move to open his goalscoring account for the Seasiders, only for Dickson Etuhu to salvage a share of the spoils for Fulham late on.
Lee Croft, Huddersfield Town
After making his full debut for the Terriers in their midweek defeat at Everton in the Carling Cup, Lee was back on the bench for Huddersfield as they defeated Charlton Athletic 3-1 in League One on Saturday. Jordan Rhodes, Jamie McCombe and Gary Roberts hit the goals for the home side to keep their promotion push back on track after their defeat at Peterborough United last weekend.
Ross Atkins, Tamworth
Ross extended his loan with Blue Square Premier Tamworth until January 2011 earlier this week, and he helped the Lambs to an impressive 3-1 victory over Luton Town on Saturday. Kyle Perry, Danny Thomas and Daniel Bradley struck for Tamworth, with Tom Craddock spoiling Atkins' hopes of keeping a clean sheet. Tamworth face Kidderminster Harriers away on Bank Holiday Monday, a side whom Atkins impressed whilst on loan with last season.
Greg Mills, AFC Telford United
Greg created the opening goal for Telford against Redditch United on Saturday, scored by Steve Abbott after just 30 seconds, but they dropped their first points of the season at the Blue Square North's bottom club. Redditch grabbed an equaliser, with Mills again a threat throughout and he was unlucky not to find himself on the scoresheet. Telford are back in action on Bank Holiday Monday against Nuneaton Town.
Graham Kelly, Bray Wanderers
Graham has missed the last month's worth of action for Bray with a hamstring injury, and missed their 3-2 victory over UCD on Friday evening in the FAI Cup. He is however expected to return to action in the near future after missing the last five matches.
