Luke Varney (Blackpool), Lee Croft (Huddersfield Town) and Graham Kelly (Bray Wanderers) weren't in action on Bank Holiday Monday, but two of the Rams' out-on-loan players were for their second game in three days.
Ross Atkins, Tamworth
Ross helped the Lambs gain another valuable point to maintain their strong start to the season in the Blue Square Premier, but it could have been so much more surrendering a late goal in their 2-2 draw at Kidderminster Harriers. The home side were down to ten men, but valiantly fought back to equalise with 30 seconds of normal time remaining. The goalkeeper enjoyed a loan stint with Kidderminster last season.
Greg Mills, AFC Telford United
Greg produced another fine performance as AFC Telford cruised to another victory to remain just two points behind leaders Alfreton Town in the Blue Square North. Mills notched his third goal of the season for the Bucks in the second half as they defeated Nuneaton Town 4-1, crashing a long-range effort into the back of the net via the underside of the crossbar.
