Derby County striker Rob Hulse, 30, today ended his two-year association with the Rams by joining Queens Park Rangers.
Hulse, who will turn 31 in October and was in the last year of his three-year contact with the Club, has joined the Loftus Road outfit for an undisclosed fee on a three-year contract.
The forward has started only one of Derby's opening five fixtures this season because of an Achilles injury.
Rams manager Nigel Clough said that allowing Hulse to leave was 'a good deal for Derby County and the right thing to do.'
Clough also confirmed the club would move decisively when the emergency transfer window re-opens next week, with a number of attacking targets lined up.
Hulse joined Derby from Sheffield United in July 2008 and made 97 appearances in total, scoring 31 goals.
He began his career with Crewe Alexandra where he came through their fabled youth system and progressed to the first-team under Dario Gradi.
He joined West Bromwich Albion in 2003 before joining Leeds United in 2005. A year later he joined Sheffield United, and after two years at Bramall Lane before moving to Pride Park.
