The Sun and The Football League are giving fans the chance to get closer to the action and get behind their team as the 'Footie with a Friend' promotion returns, giving fans another chance to save on standard ticket prices.
Yet again this season, The Sun carries more coverage of League football than any other newspaper, including regular opinion and analysis from all-round football expert Chris Kamara, match reports, pictures, quotes and ratings on every single match.
The paper's latest deal launches today (Saturday 28th January 2012) and will bring readers even closer to the action by offering bargain footie tickets to Derby County fans for the following npower Championship matches:
Derby County Vs Blackpool, Tuesday 6th March 2012
Derby County Vs Crystal Palace, Saturday 24th March 2012
Readers just have to collect four differently numbered tokens printed in The Sun from today until Monday 6th February 2012 - and in return for the tokens they will be able to purchase two tickets for either game for just £19.50.
The offer gives fans access to 87 matches from February 4 until April 14, 2012 involving 59 npower Championship, League 1 and League 2 clubs and has over 100,000 tickets available.
Derby County skipper Shaun Barker said: "The Sun's 'Footie with a Friend' is a great chance for fans to get along to Derby County and support the team at a discounted price. Hopefully we have a good uptake and we can welcome plenty of fans to Pride Park Stadium for the Blackpool and Crystal Palace games."
Sun columnist and League football expert Chris Kamara said: "The day of your first football match always lives long in the memory, so The Sun has teamed up with The Football League to offer tickets from £9.50 to your local club!Even if it is not your first match, it's a brilliant offer, so collect your tokens now!"
