Nigel Clough has called on the Rams' supporters to show their true colours at Pride Park on Thursday night.
Clough wants the players to be greeted by a sea of black and white when the side come out of the tunnel in Thursday night's East Midlands derby against Leicester City, live on Sky Sports.
He told Rams Player: "We always look forward to games like these; there will be a big crowd here, a great atmosphere and the television cameras will only enhance the spectacle.
"Supporters play a big part in these games; they do in every game but just that little bit more in local derbies as everybody is up for it.
"I want everybody to bring a black and white scarf and wear a Derby shirt on Thursday, it would be great to see everybody decked out in black and white and it'd add to what is sure to be an amazing atmosphere."
