Lewis arrived at Pride Park in July 2007 to sign a three-year deal and move from Ipswich Town for an undisclosed fee.

The Welsh international came up through the ranks at Portman Road and made his senior debut while still a teenager.

The six-feet-three-inches stopper has over 80 career appearances to his name and a reputation as a bright young talent.

Bournemouth-born Price made his international debut in 2005 against Cyprus, where he earned the plaudits with a man of the match appearance.

Price's senior Rams debut arrived in unexpected style on Boxing Day 2007 when the Rams hosted Liverpool.

He was originally down to be on the bench but Stephen Bywater pulled up with a shoulder injury less than an hour before kick-off, leading to a call-up for Price.

And he performed very well with a number of fine saves during the Rams' late 2-1 defeat to the title-chasing Reds.

Price held on to his place for a few weeks but the January transfer window saw Stephen Bywater head out on loan to Ipswich Town, while Roy Carroll arrived from Rangers - further increasing the competition.

And, after featuring just once as an unused substitute early in 2008/09, on October 27 he headed out to League 1 side MK Dons for a month-long loan.

He made three appearances for the Dons, and also enjoyed a loan spell in League 2 with Luton Town - where his penalty shoot-out heroics helped the Hatters to the Wembley final of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

In the summer of 2009 he joined League One side Brentford on a season-long loan.
