Callum is a second year scholar in the Derby County Academy, but has already enjoyed a taste of first-team football.
The powerful striker has been a regular goalscorer for the youth team, and has also established himself as a member of the reserve team in the totesport.com Central Division.
A powerful striker with a good touch, Ball is considered a bright prospect by the coaching staff.
He enjoyed his first taste of first-team football as a late substitute on the final day of the 2009/10 season, with Derby defeating Cardiff City 2-0.
With Derby's striking options limited early in the 2010/11 season he was promoted to the first-team squad and featured as a late substitute in the 2-2 draw with Queens Park Rangers at the end of August.
