Slovenian attacking midfielder Timi Elsnik joined Derby County in the summer of 2015.
He had spent some time on trial with Derby’s Under 21 side during the back end of the 2014/15 campaign and impressed enough to win a contract.
He enjoyed a successful 2015/16 season by winning the club's Scholar of the Year award and also featured for the Under 21s as they sealed promotion to the top flight.
Ahead of the 2016/17 season, he featured for the first-team in their Algarve Cup game against Benfica in Portugal before making his first-team bow as a substitute in the EFL Cup against Carlisle United - and scored the winning goal from the penalty spot in a 14-13 penalty shoot-out success.
Previously with NK Aluminij Kidricevo, Elsnik can play in a number of attacking positions.
He has also represented his country at international level and is currently a member of the Slovenia Under 19 squad.
