Derby get green light to install two external screens at Pride Park Stadium.

Derby County Football Club has been granted planning permission by Derby City Council for the installation of two external LED screens at Pride Park Stadium, as the Club enters the next stage of its project to digitally upgrade the Stadium.

Earlier this year a Big Screen was installed within Pride Park Stadium to enhance the Rams’ matchday experience - as well as the introduction of pitch perimeter LED boards - and the external screens are viewed as the next step of the plan.

The Rams have again teamed up with partners Sports Revolution for this project, as they seek to find new and innovative ways to make Derby County successful in the new era of Financial Fair Play.

The application requested that the 40m2 screens would be installed in the North West and North East corners on the exterior of Pride Park Stadium and with planning application granted, installation work is due to conclude by early December.

Over 30,000 cars enter the Pride Park area each day, while nearly a million supporters and members of the public visit the home of Derby County each year.
