Derby County supporters are reminded that they have the unique opportunity to bid for the match shirts worn by the Rams’ players in last Saturday’s 4-1 win over Blackpool at Pride Park Stadium.

As mark of respect for Remembrance Sunday this coming weekend, Derby’s players donned Red Poppies on their shirts for the thrashing of the Seasiders - which highlighted the club's continued commitment to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.

Remembrance Sunday is traditionally held on the second Sunday in November and is the anniversary of the end of hostilities in the First World War at 11am in 1918, to commemorate the contribution of British and Commonwealth military and civilian servicemen and women in the two World Wars and later conflicts – and Derby were keen to show their support.

Each member of the first-team squad was issued with a ‘Poppy Shirt’ – even those not involved in the matchday squad against the Tangerines - and each shirt is currently being auctioned off, with all proceeds will go towards the Royal British Legion.

Every player has signed their own individual jersey and the minimum bid for each shirt is £75 – and there’s sure to be high demand for the shirts after Derby produced a fine display to claim their third home win of the season.

Supporters wishing to make a bid should head to: www.ibidder.com/dcfc to place a bid for a match-worn shirt.

The closing date is at 11:11pm on Sunday 11th November, so there’s plenty of time to register your interest and make a bid.
