Rams set to face Mickleover Sports on Thursday 10th July.
Derby County’s pre-season friendly with Mickleover Sports at the Raygar Stadium has been re-scheduled.The Rams were due to travel to the Evo-Stik League Northern Premier First Division South side on Tuesday 1st July before heading to Evo-Stik Premier Division Matlock Town on Thursday 3rd July (7:45pm).
However, the match has been re-arranged for Thursday 10th July (7:15pm kick-off), following the side’s game against Conference Premier outfit Nuneaton Town on Tuesday 8th July (7:45pm).
The Rams’ pre-season preparations also include a six-day training camp in Austria between 20th and 26th July.
During the training camp, Steve McClaren’s men will face Russian Premier League side Zenit St Petersburg (Tuesday 22nd July at Sports Zentrum Kalsdorf, 6:00pm (5:00pm BST)), while a second fixture, on Friday 25th July, will be confirmed on the official website in due course.
After the Rams’ training camp in Austria, Derby will travel to Notts County on Saturday 19th July (1:00pm kick-off), prior to a trip to Burton Albion on Tuesday 29th July (7:30pm) before finalising their pre-season preparations with a final home fixture against Scottish giants Rangers at the iPro Stadium on Saturday 2nd August (1:00pm).
