Derby and Umbro reveal the Rams' new look for the 2014/15 season.

Derby County have today revealed their smart new home kit – produced by Umbro - for the forthcoming 2014/15 season.

The white and black kit will make its debut in the Ram’s pre-season friendly against Matlock Town tonight (7:45pm kick off).

Umbro have reinterpreted designs from Derby’s archive and used modern performance technology to create the Club’s new 2014/15 home kit.

The lightweight home shirt features a ventilated stripe with mesh underarm panels for ultimate breathability. A black crew neck rib collar and a shaped, dropped hem give the jersey a smart look and improved fit. The shirt has moisture wicking properties as well as eight laser-cut ventilation holes to keep players cool.

The Club’s iconic Ram crest and the Umbro double diamond are embroidered in black stitching.

The black shorts are also crafted with movement in mind. Mesh insert panel seams offer enhanced breathability and a shaped in-seam creates a fitted shape. The club crest and Umbro double diamond are applied in white to provide a clean, smart finish.

The construction and fabrication of the white and black socks ensures maximum breathability, comfort and performance. Anatomical footbeds, ‘Y’ heels and low profile toe seams provide a superior fit. A double welt cuff in black ensures the sock retains its shape and smartness.

The most successful era in Derby’s history came in Umbro kits, winning league titles in 1972 and 1975.

Derby County’s Chief Operating Officer John Vicars said: "Umbro has created a smart and technical strip for the new season which will look great both on and off the pitch.

“Everyone at the Club is delighted with the new home kit and we hope the fans feel the same."
