Defender extends his stay at the County Ground by a further month.

Derby County defender Josh Lelan has extended his loan spell at League 1 Swindon Town.

The centre-back, who is part of Derby’s Under 21 set-up, is currently in his second year as a professional with the Rams.

He joined the Robins in July and has made two appearances for Mark Cooper’s side, including his first Football League appearance in their 3-1 win over Scunthorpe United on the opening day of the season.

His loan spell will now run up to and including Saturday 27th September 2014.

Lelan, who spent time on loan at Gateshead last season, has been an unused substitute for Derby’s first-team on a handful of occasions but is yet to make his first-team bow for the Club.
