Derby County youngster is one of new four faces in squad for Italy match later this month

Derby County’s Max Lowe has received his first England Under-18s call-up ahead of their game with Italy later this month.


The 17-year-old has featured heavily in Lee Glover’s Development Squad in their first season in the inaugural Barclays Under-21 Premier League Division 2 campaign.


Lowe also impressed in a number of appearances in the England Under-17s squad last season.


Lowe will now link up with Neil Dewsnip’s squad on 20 September and travel to Venice to take on the Azzurrini at Stadio Giovanni Chiggiato in Caorle four days later (15:00pm kick-off).


The Derby youngster is one of four players making their first start at Under-18 level and joins Harry Lewis, Kyle Walker-Peters and Tammy Abraham in making their first appearances.
