Young striker's youth loan spell with Bradford City comes to an end as Derby look to integrate the 18-year-old back into first team set up

Mason Bennett has returned to Derby County after the Club decided to recall him from his loan spell with Bradford City.

The 18-year-old signed a one-year youth loan deal with the Bantams and featured on 13 occasions for Phil Parkinson’s side – eight of which were substitute appearances - and notched one goal.

Although Bennett stated that he was enjoying his time at the Coral Windows Stadium, Derby have decided that they want to integrate the young forward – the youngest player to ever pull on the Rams shirt – back into their set up.

Meanwhile, Tom Naylor has extended his loan spell with Cambridge United to 93 days.
