Derby County’s Ryan Shotton has today joined fellow Sky Bet Championship side Birmingham City on a permanent basis for an undisclosed fee.
Shotton, 27, spent the second half of last season on loan at St Andrew’s and made nine appearances during his time across the Midlands, but he has now joined Gary Rowett’s side permanently.
Shotton joined the Rams from Stoke City in August 2014, initially on loan before signing permanently a few months later, and made 36 appearances in total in a Derby shirt.
Derby County would like to wish Ryan every success in the future and thank him for his efforts during his time at the club.
