Derby County Under 23s’ captain Farrend Rawson has linked up with Coventry City on a loan deal until the end of the season.

Off the back of hugely impressive individual season with Darren Wassall’s squad this term, the defender has joined up with the Sky Bet League 1 outfit to further his football development.
It represents his third loan spell of his career to date.
The commanding 20-year-old defender enjoyed two spells with Rotherham United in the Sky Bet Championship over two seasons proceeding the current campaign and played 20 games in total for the Millers.
Coventry currently reside 24th in League 1 and Rawson could now make his debut in the Sky Blues’ home clash with high-flying Fleetwood Town on Saturday at the Ricoh Arena.
Rawson is the second Under 23 players to head out on loan during this window, after Callum Guy also joined Port Vale this month, and the pair could find themselves coming up against each other when Coventry host the Valiants at the Ricoh Arena over the second half of the campaign.
