The EFL has teamed up with Mitre and The Football on 5 show to give fans the opportunity to vote for their choice of the best EFL goal of 2016 – and Derby County feature in the top 10!

After each club was invited to submit their best goal of the last calendar year and Football on 5 revealed the shortlist for the top 10 goals earlier this month.

Derby submitted Darren Bent’s superb volley in their 3-2 victory at Wolverhampton Wanderers back in November as their top strike.

Rams supporters can vote for Bent’s goal as their favourite - and view the other contenders - by visiting efl.com/goty17.

Voting closes at midnight on Tuesday 28th March when the 10 goals will be whittled down to five remaining contenders.

The overall winner will then be decided on the night of the 2017 EFL Awards.

This year marks the 12th anniversary of the event, which takes place at the London Hilton on Sunday 9th April.
