Offrande Zanzala has left Derby County to join newly promoted Sky Bet League 1 side Accrington Stanley for an undisclosed fee.

The 21-year-old spent the second half of the 2017/18 season on loan at the Crown Ground and featured five times as they were crowned League 2 champions.

He also scored his first professional goal in a 4-0 win over Wycombe Wanderers in April and the club’s manager, John Coleman, has moved to bring Zanzala back to Accrington on a permanent basis.

The forward, who joined the Rams as a 12-year-old after moving to the country from Austria, rose through the Academy ranks at Derby and played a pivotal role in helping the club’s then Under-21s earn promotion to Premier League 2 Division 1 for the first time.

Zanzala also enjoyed loan spells at Stevenage and Chester.

The club wishes Offrande all the best his move to Accrington.
