A book of condolence remains open at Derby County’s Pride Park Stadium in memory of former manager Jim Smith.

Supporters wishing to sign the book of condolence and pay their respects are advised to visit Main Reception during normal opening hours.

Smith, who was the Rams’ boss between 1995 and 2001, sadly passed away last month at the age of 79.

The popular former manager guided Derby to automatic promotion to the top-flight in the 1995/96 season and established them amongst the country’s elite whilst also overseeing the transition from the Baseball Ground to Pride Park Stadium in the late 1990s.

The club paid tribute to the Bald Eagle at the recent home games against Sheffield Wednesday and Millwall, with several former players attending the latter fixture and laid a wreath in his memory prior to kick-off.

The Main Reception at Pride Park Stadium is open from 9am-5pm on weekdays, while the club’s Security Office, located next to main reception, is manned on a 24-hour basis should anyone wish to sign the book of condolence out of hours.
