Derby County will travel to Norfolk to face Norwich City in the Sky Bet Championship on Saturday afternoon (3pm kick-off).

The Rams come into the game looking to turn a frustrating run of results in recent weeks around, with their latest outing being a narrow 1-0 defeat to promotion-chasing Sheffield United at Pride Park Stadium last Saturday.

Norwich sit eighth in the division after 30 games, with Head Coach Johannes Hoff Thorup guided the Canaries to 11 wins and nine draws so far this season. They come into the weekend’s clash off the back of a 1-0 win over ten-man Watford last weekend.

Team News

New signings Sondre Langas and Harrison Armstrong have entered the building since the Rams’ last league fixture and will both hope to make their debuts in Saturday’s game after featuring in training this week. Langas provides another option in defence while Armstrong can play in a number of midfield roles.

Midfielder David Ozoh and defender Ryan Nyambe both returned to action with minutes against Cardiff City and Sheffield United, after extended periods on the sidelines this season, and are set to feature in the matchday squad.

Defender Nat Phillips is back in training after missing the last few weeks with a calf problem and left-back Callum Elder is also with the group after sitting out the loss to Sheffield United with a groin complaint.

Right-sider Kane Wilson and striker Dajaune Brown are both still sidelined for the foreseeable future, with Brown set to miss the remainder of the season and Wilson out for a period of recovery after both players suffered hamstring injuries in last month’s fixture against Sunderland.

Centre-back Curtis Nelson is absent for the remainder of the season after suffering a cruciate ligament injury in January, while winger Corey Blackett-Taylor is set to miss an extended period with a hamstring issue.

Tickets for the Rams' trip to Norwich are now OFF SALE.
